It's another round of the Sisterhood of Crafters challenge! In honor of the upcoming St. Patrick's day celebration, we are asking for cards with SHADES OF GREEN.
This card is featuring the never been used PinkFresh stamp set, Pears and Pomegranates. This set is an older PF set, but was recently purchased on a sale they were having with the washi coordinating sets. I can't pass up a sale...

The PK washi sets have stamps, dies, stencil and a washi tape that all coordinate and cut out together. The image was stamped first in Altenew Pale Grey Permanent ink with the Stampwheel 2.0. The stamp and the paper were both in their original placements while ink blending with the stencils. The greens for the pears are from Altenew's Mediterranean Glow color family while the leaves were inked with Bamboo, Parrot, Shadow Creek and Mountain Pine. Because the stamps and stencils include the pomegrantes, all the images were inked. However, since red pomegranates aren't part of the color challenge, those stamped images were set aside for another project.

After all the images were ink-blended with the stencil, and since the paper and stamp wasn't removed from its original stamping in the Stampwheel, the image was stamped again in black to really define the images. They were then die-cut and placed on a die-cut panel using PF Blanket Stitched Octagon inked with Honeydew ink.

The gate-fold card was created but die cutting an A2 card front of Altenew Hunter Green card stock with the PF Stitched Octagon Background die. That panel was then cut in half at 2 1/8" and glued to either side of the gate fold. A second panel die cut with the Blanket Stitched Octagon was placed on the inside of the card and an extra pear and a sentiment from Altenew's Tranquil Greetings was added.

Finally, sparkle was added to the pears using Wink of Stella...a favorite of mine! That's it for today, be sure to join us for our challenge and link up so we can see your lovely creations.
Have a colorful day!
Beautiful card and fabulous new site! Congrats
